PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Lipase NE is produced by submerged fermentation of Thermomyces lanuginosus followed by purification and formulation. The product has efficient hydrolytic activity within a wide range of temperature (40-65℃) and weakly acidic to alkaline pH conditions. Used in ester hydrolysis to prepare fatty acid; used in methyl esterification reaction (transesterification) esterification or acylation reaction in anhydrous medium/organic solvent/oil.

Functions

Dosage
Recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5% by weight of substrate.
Definition of Activity
1g of solid enzyme powder, under the condition of pH 7.5 at 40℃, hydrolyzes the substrate in 1min to produce 1μmol of titratable fatty acid, which is an enzyme activity unit, expressed in U/g.
